Mr. Maestre joined the Department of World Languages with Cobb County School District in 2019. He earned his Master’s Degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Queens College of The City University of New York. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in English and Spanish from Universidad del Atlántico in Barranquilla, Colombia. He currently teaches all levels of Spanish classes at South Cobb High School. In the past, he taught English and Spanish Language in high school, community, and technical colleges and universities in his native country Colombia, New York City, Kentucky, and South Carolina. Mr. Maestre’s research interests are Second Language Acquisition, Teaching, and Learning Languages Online, Spanish Dialects, Latin American Literature, Culture, and Civilization. He often sponsors study abroad programs. Mr. Maestre is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Second Language Research at the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico, at Ponce Campus

On this website, you can choose any speaker from the list. It has more than 400 videos, made by speakers from every Spanish speaking country.
